FOR ECT CONSULT 1. Call Kim Anderson at 703-953-1557 to initially set up a consultation which will be either at our office in Reston/Herndon or at INOVA Mt Vernon Hospital or Alexandria Office Location 2. Kim will be able to then contact your insurance to get authorization and verify if your insurance will cover ECT treatments for you. 3. During the ECT consultation you may be required to get labs , Chest X ray , EKG or additional consulation like cardiology or Neurology depending on your history and risk factors and medical history. Most healthy patients require very minimal pre ECT workup which may be done even on the day of the procedure. 4. Our ECT staff nurses will help you schedule and provide you with all the necessary pre -procedure information . |
